Ellipse Projects, by the nature of its activities, participates in the development of the countries where it has a presence. Ellipse Projects’ objectives is to improve the quality of life of the populations and help to create local jobs.

Ellipse Projects invests in the social well-being of all the countries in which it operates. Its approach is to focus on the quality of life, social development and improvement of the environment of local populations.

All of its operations follow a strict framework for limiting negative social and environmental impacts through compliance with the most demanding international standards.


SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT

Ellipse Projects has an internal environmental and social management system which allows it to ensure continuous monitoring of the environmental and social impacts of all its projects in compliance with the most demanding international standards, from the identification of a project until its handover to client.


CODE OF CONDUCT

Ellipse Projects has developed a Code of Conduct which defines the main policies and procedures of the company. These policies and procedures apply to all of its employees, sub-contractors and contractors.

The objective is to ensure a working environment that considers the health and safety, as well as the well-being of all its employees invested in its projects, the respect of commercial ethical rules and the control of negative impacts of its projects.

This commitment is reflected in particular through its:

  • Environmental and social management system

ENGAGEMENTS

Ellipse Projects undertakes to comply with all national laws and regulations during the project life cycle in all operating areas. In addition Ellipse Projects adheres to:

  • The Equator Principles
  • The guiding principles of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)
  • The Performance Standards (PS) of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), established by the World Bank Group and in particular the environmental, health and safety guidelines of the IFC

This commitment of Ellipse Projects is reinforced by its membership to the United Nations Global Compact, based on ten principles relating to Human Rights, working conditions, the environment and the fight against corruption.



Since 2020 Ellipse Projects has been committed to the UN Global Compact corporate responsibility initiative and its principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anticorruption.
