Construction of the new Eastern Regional Hospital in Koforidua

The Ghanaian Ministry of Health wishes to equip the Eastern Region of the country with a new 285-bed regional hospital (expandable to 600 beds in a 2nd phase).

In addition to medical services and equipment, the hospital will be equipped with a medical training centre and staff accommodation.

Ellipse Projects is working in joint venture with Tyllium for the development and construction of the hospital.

The contract is worth €70 million for the first phase and is financed by Standard Chartered Bank and UK Export Finance.
