The Republic of Senegal, seeking to improve access to quality health care for its entire population, has decided to build four hospitals with a total capacity of 750 beds in the cities of Touba, Kaffrine, Sédhiou and Kédougou.

The implementation of the project includes the execution of the studies, the construction work, the supply of the integral equipment of the medical and technical services, the commissioning and the maintenance.

Ellipse Projects was selected and a contract worth nearly € 150 million was signed in 2017. The Société Générale Bank has structured financing that benefits from the BPI France Assurance Export guarantee.

The four hospitals were delivered in 2021.
